About Me
I am currently a PhD candidate in political science at Stanford University concentrating in applied ethics and comparative politics. I have over ten years of experience working with students to help build their writing, editing, public speaking, test-taking and presentation skills. After graduating with highest honors from Smith College, I worked as a recruiter for Teach For America in New York City. I also served as the Director of the New York University debate program and taught rhetoric courses at Columbia University. In college, I served as President of the Amherst College Debate Society, where I ranked consistently in the top five teams of the American Parliamentary Debate Association. As a college journalist, I had the chance to conduct live hour-long interviews with Bill Clinton and Nansi Pelosi. I also interned with Senator Ted Kennedy and the Brooklyn District Attorney.
