About Me
I am a third-year doctoral student in Iberian and Latin American Cultures (Spanish and Portuguese Literature and Language) interested in early modern Iberian epic poetry, but also captivated by luminaries from the Spanish Golden Age such as Cervantes, Gracián, and Calderón. I have instructed Spanish courses at two universities since 2007 and have received stellar student reviews. Most of the students with whom I interact are over 18, but I do have experience tutoring students as young as 13. I tailor lesson plans in accordance with student needs rather than an a priori set of instruction guidelines. In sum, student needs and goals constitute the basis of my tutoring program, and I base my success on their prowess.
