Well, hello there. I am a Masters student in Mechanical Engineering at MIT. I love geeking out and helping other people understand why science and engineering are so great (usually by explaining how it works). In high school I struggled with science subjects and had a physics tutor who used to tell me "Lindy, you love physics, you just don't know it yet." This eventually turned out to be true, and I think this experience helps me see math and science problems from many perspectives, and I can try explaining things in different ways until the student understands. I know and cherish the feeling of 'I finally understand something!' and seek to share it with my students as much as possible.
