About Me
What I offer: I offer high-end professional tutoring for all ages (middle school through graduate school).
A bit about me: I am a working professional, and I use tutoring as supplemental income; therefore, I only take on a maximum of two clients at any given time. I am a former high school English teacher; during my time as an English teacher, I wrote grammar curriculum and taught writing. Since that time, I have earned my MPH from Johns Hopkins University in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and I scored above the 90th percentile on the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). I have worked as a professional tutor in formal environments (e.g., the University of Maryland Athletic Department), and as an individual consultant. I have worked with students of all ages (range: 4th grade through a 66 year-old PhD candidate). I have expertise and experience teaching and tutoring mathematics through the graduate level, sciences through the graduate level, English grammar/ writing/ literature, and study skills/organization.
