About Me
Hi! My name is Alison. I'm a Harvard educated tutor who would love to work with you. I've been tutoring academic subjects and standardized tests for five years now, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I'm truly passionate about helping students surprise themselves with their own intellectual abilities and gain some confidence along the way. I have tutored at two of the top firms in Manhattan and have worked with students of all ages and abilities. I tutor the SAT, PSAT, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, several SAT IIs, as well as numerous academic subjects. I'm also an experienced essay editor who has helped countless students preen college essays and academic papers. My students regularly see significant score improvements on standardized tests, and they make huge gains in their academic subjects. I'm extremely energetic, enthusiastic, organized, and punctual.
