Hello, I'm a native Mandarin speaker. I graduated from Columbia University, Teachers College with my MA in Art and Art Education. I have experience teaching all levels of studio arts, and I'm also NYS Visual Arts K-12th certified. In addition to art, I also teach and tutor 1st - 4th grade math and ELA. I would describe myself as a creative and flexible teacher because I understand children have different needs and learning styles. I try to make the learning fun when possible, yet I hold very high (but reasonable) standards for my students. I enjoy working with children and helping them learn and grow to their full potential.
