About Me

As a long time veteran in the music business, I have over 20 years experience as a musician, entertainer, educator, producer, arranger & director. I have a degree from the University of Miami and have obtained an even more precious education from the professionals I've worked and studied with over the years.

Since the day I was born, music has been a huge part of my life and who I am. I've traveled all around the world performing and working with many celebrities, famous musicians and entertainers. I have appeared on stage with Michael Brecker, Arturo Sondoval, Jerry Bergonzi, David Sanborn, Bob Mintzer, David Liebman, Joe Lovano, Jamey Aebersold, Bobby Shew, Poncho Sanchez, Duffy Jackson, American Idol's Kimberley Locke, Earth Wind & Fire, Lionel Richie, Clarence Clemons, William Shatner, and many others.

The past 5 years I've worked on cruise lines as a musical director and arranger. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in music production, live performance and most importantly, education. Since high school I've been helping tutor my peers, students, children and adults in music. Along with earning a degree in Music performance from the University of Miami, I've also attended many courses of music education, theory, performance, production, arranging and composition at the Universities of Northern Iowa and Florida International.

During my time as a private instructor and educator, I've have personally developed a teaching method over the years that makes learning and performing music, simple, fun, motivating, and fast. It's quite an exhilarating process that all have of my students have commented as "extremely inspiring". My students learn music faster and more coherently than compared to traditional and other teaching methods. I guarantee anyone, even those who think are tone-deaf, can learn all aspects of music and performance as easy as they speak their own language.

From beginner to advanced, and ages 8 and up, I tutor for saxophone, flute, clarinet, piano and bass guitar. I also provide instruction in music theory, songwriting, arranging, composition, music notation software, DAW, studio production, and live performance. I teach all styles and genres of music including classical, Jazz, Rap, R&B;, Pop, Rock, Funk, Blues, Country, World, Latin, and many more. I offer lessons at my personal studio, or I can travel to you. Lessons range from 1/2 hour to 1 hour, and discounts are available for long-term study.
