About Me

I have been involved in education for more than 20 years and have been tutoring with LAUSD for the past four years. I have a BA degree and am a proffesional journalist writing for an international publication based out of NYC. I began tutoring as a way to make a little extra money but found that it is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences I have ever had. Seeing the spark of realization in a student's eyes when they finally overcome the obstacles which block their progress is one of the best feelings in the world. I have tutored students of varied ages in History, Math, and Language Arts. I have also had great success working with students who have Asperger's, Austism, and ADHD. These students are wonderful and just need a patient and creative tutor. I'm also a musician who regularly teaches drum and guitar lessons.
