About Me

I am an English tutor.  As a writer I like meeting new people, especially people who are trying to improve their language skills.  Language is my great love, and the gift of articulation is a hard earned talent -- one that can distinguish you in valuable ways throughout your professional life.  Making it fun and interesting is key, as is fostering confidence.  How you express yourself is often closely tied to the process of learning about life and the world at large.   Learning about life and the world can, in turn help you learn about yourself.  These sorts of lessons are crucial to developing the confidence needed to succeed in a competitive workforce.  My focus areas are reading comprehension, composition and exposition, literature, vocabulary building, grammar, and for international students, English oral proficiency.
