About Me

My name is Huong Nguyen and I am a recent graduate of UC Berkeley. I studied anthropology while working part time tutoring students in the community. I love to help struggling students understand concepts that will help them build their foundation for a successful academic future. I am especially skilled at helping students adopt effective study methods. I also tutor students ranging from elementary to college ages in English Reading and Writing. I am always eager to pass on my enthusiasm to my students.

My students' needs and goals are always put at the forefront of my performance as a tutor because nothing is more important to me than helping grow and excel both intellectually and academically. I understand that each student learns differently so I am determined to find what methods works for them. I am an encouraging tutor who cares and is more than happy to go the "extra mile" to see them reach their goals.
