About Me

Background
I am currently enrolled to UC Irvine for my third year with a major in computer science. I've been a computer enthusiast for all of my life and have studied computer science for 7 years and counting. I graduated from Troy High School's Tech Program with high marks and earned straight As in every computer related class.

Tutoring Experience
I'm good with people: understanding, patient, caring, and enthusiastic. I've had a lot of experience in teaching students and peers alike in several subjects and on several occasions. I have two younger sisters that have both also attended Troy High: one graduate and one currently enrolled. I've helped them with deeply understanding computer science concepts and with assignments countless times ensuring that they've both actually learned and gained the ability to get the grades. Having taken the classes before, I know all of the common mistakes and misunderstandings that students have and therefore know how dispel them. I generally like to teach by example and simple explanations. I use drawings when appropriate for more visual learners.
