I've been tutoring science and math for a number of years now and find that students become much more interested and engaged in the subject when it is catered to their specific learning style. Once this style is uncovered, learning any subject becomes so much easier. Once the pedagogical factors are overcome, students tend to be surprisingly interested and engaged in their studies.
