About Me
Hello, my name is Shira and I just graduated Stern College for Women with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I will be teaching at a Jewish day school next year, and will be going to Hunter for a masters in special education. Ever since I was little I knew that I wanted to go into education, and loved teaching anything I could to those around me. I grew up tutoring my peers in math, and for the past several summers have tutored students in a multitude of subjects. I have also worked at two tutoring centers to gain more experience. Giving students the one on one learning experience is something I value and enjoy greatly. I am currently living in Washington Heights but can commute easily to the Five Towns or Teaneck. My hours are very flexible.
