About Me
I am WSU graduate with a major in Elementary Education and a minor Health Education. I am currently working on my MA degree; I am also a part of the Golden Key International Honorary Society and a student Ambassador for the College of Education at Wayne State University. Two of my passions in life are teaching and being a mother. I enjoy seeing my students' faces light up when they learn something new. In the past 2 year I have successfully helped middle, high and elementary school students improve in subjects such as English Language Arts, Math, Spanish, Social Studies as well as learning new study habits. I feel if my students are taking part in their learning experience then they will be more likely to work harder to succeed. I do my best each day I am with my students to make their learning experience fun, exciting, hands-on when needed; I also help them to make connections to their world so they can remember concepts and understand the topic at hand.
