About Me
When I was studying at Columbia University, I used to tutor other students in statistics and computer science, both on a short-term (exam preparation, etc.) and ongoing basis.
I currently work at a venture firm in the Flatiron district. I save some time for mentoring/tutoring students because I enjoy watching others discover the same excitement that I love about this industry. (For that reason, I prefer working with beginners, though I've studied topics such as compiler design and machine learning at the graduate level, and I'm happy to tutor those as well).
If you're a student looking for exam prep, I'll teach you the essential tips and tricks you'll need to ace your exam.
If you're someone (anyone) looking to learn how to program, I'll help you realize how much fun it is, and discover your new favorite pastime!
If you would like to see some of my previous work, please take a look at OkTrends, the OkCupid blog, or my Github profile (chimeracoder)... or contact me to find out more!
