About Me

I just graduated from Connecticut College this spring and majored in Chinese Language & Literature as well as Government, and a minor in Chinese History. I fell into the Chinese language and culture when I was 12, and have spent the last three summers in China working at an international law firm, going to school, and then working at a small PR / branding / advertising / music company! I have lived in Shanghai, Beijing, and Yantai as well as traveled all over China!

Traveling is one of my favorite things...the opportunities that open up are one of the many reasons why language is so important! I've tutored lower-level students at college, as well as taught 2nd & 3rd graders beginning Chinese! Along with playing the drums, Chinese is my passion and they are pursuits that I have devoted myself to all my life, and hope to help others do the same! I love children and feel comfortable working with students of all ages. NYC born and raised, reasonable rates!
