About Me
Though not an educator by trade, I love to teach and have done so both as a self-employed tutor and as a volunteer. In high school, I ran my own tutoring business. When I moved on to college, I volunteered teaching a class of about 15 underprivileged high school students preparing for the New York Regents exams. I also worked one-on-one and in small groups tutoring junior high students. I particularly enjoy working to help students improve their creative and analytical writing skills. I am a professional freelance writer and copyeditor with a creative writing background, and I love helping people with their personal statements. For both the GMAT and the SAT, I am available to assist with verbal prep as well as essay writing help for the GMAT AWA and SAT writing section.
