Hello, My name is Patrick; I'm currently a grad student at Berkeley in Materials Science and Engineering. I have some tutoring experience going back to high school, and have recently started tutoring high school kids as part of a volunteer program. What I like best about teaching is giving students confidence in their ability to succeed. In math and science, this usually begins by convincing the students to work without a calculator as often as possible, which places more focus on the concepts and methods at hand.
