About Me

I am a recent graduate from the University of Southern California. I am extremely excited to enter the field of education. Pursuing a career in this field has proven to be a long and rewarding journey. I have built a strong philosophy on the importance of educational growth and personal and social responsibility. I have an extensive academic background in Education with an emphasis in Bilingual (Spanish) Elementary Education and Instructional Technology. My undergraduate and graduate degrees have equipped me with research-based instructional knowledge, approaches and hands-on experience in the classroom. I feel confident in developing and initiating standard-based and differentiated K-6th grade level instruction. I'm currently working as an Intervention Teacher for Capistrano School District in K-5. I specialize in developing fluency, phonics and mathematics in both English and Spanish for elementary school aged students. I am also well versed in the use of technology for both MAC and PCs. I am familiar with most computer applications such as outlook, power point, excel, word etc. My availability is Mon - Fri 4-8PM and Sat - Sun 9-2pm.
