I did my Masters in Mathematics from UCLA and have 5 years' experience teaching math to junior-high school and high school students in addition to 3 years as a teaching assistant at UCLA.

My students as well as supervisors have had uniformly excellent opinion of my work (in a recent performance review one of my students called me "the best TA ever"). I usually develop and maintain very good relationships with my students even after I have stopped teaching them -- many of my students from still get in touch with me for advice and counseling. I have had the opportunity to work with an extremely diverse set of individuals -- in terms of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds certainly, but also in terms of academic capacity and interest.

I have been successful in addressing the concerns of most students and doing my utmost towards helping each student achieve his/her best potential. This has been so much fun and so very satisfying that I hope to continue doing this.
