I’ve made a lifelong study of the humanities, and have developed recognized competencies in drama, music, literature, and languages. I’ve successfully taught kindergarten, college, and many grades in between. Having taught at a variety of independent and public schools has provided me with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by students in both types of institutions—and it has also provided me with many opportunities to help them joyfully surmount these challenges. As an administrator for Kaplan K-12, I worked tirelessly to insure that seniors enrolled in the Los Angeles Unified School District would be able to earn a diploma by preparing them for the state exit exam.
