About Me
I am a 2009 USC graduate in International Relations with a 3 year background in teaching. I have worked in various academic settings, from public schools to private institutes to one-on-one tutoring as well as with different age groups, from middle to high school.
My areas of focus are primarily the English Language Arts, including SAT/PSAT prep, essay writing, critical reading/writing, literary analysis, AP subjects in the Humanities, such as History, Literature, Government, etc.
I am working with an environmental non-profit in New York City but I continue to maintain educational as an integral part of my life. I like to focus personal attention on a student, and devise a tutoring curriculum specifically suited to his/her needs with full parental awareness of the lesson plan and student's progress along the way. I prefer depth and not breadth; I work with fewer students but really focus on them to develop them into strong, independent thinkers.
