About Me

Currently, I am a PhD student and a Teaching Assistant in the economics department at UC Irvine. Having tutored elementary, middle school, and university students during my four years in Chicago, I have substantial experience. My strategy when working one-on-one with students is to observe while a student works on a problem, and ask them to explain their thinking when they run into trouble or make a mistake. This allows me to identify what particular concepts a student is having trouble with and focus on those.
