About Me

I have recently completed my Masters of Professional Writing degree at USC this spring, where I studied fiction, non-fiction, profile writing, poetry, and screenwriting. I am adept in all genres, having been hired to write press kits and do ghostwriting for musicians and photographers. I have tutored for the past eight years in all disciplines of the humanities.

I grew up attending arts schools in Dallas, and graduated from BTWHSPVA, where I studied theatre and acting. This experience combined with my parenting allowed me to be very open-minded and able to adapt to any environment. I am calm and amiable in high-pressure situations. I am connected in the music and literary industry with many professional musicians and writers that will back up my work ethic and production quality. I most recently studied closely with Dana Goodyear, who writes for the New Yorker, Sandra Tsing-Loh, who writes for the Atlantic Monthly and NPR, and Janet Fitch, bestselling author of White Oleander. All will attest to my proficiency as a high-level writer and enigmatic personality to learn and grow with. Education is a reciprocal process. I hope to enjoy it with many minds hungry to ask questions and find answers.
