I'm a science teacher with 4 years of experience in public and private schools, teaching elementary and middle school, as well as tutoring at the high school level (and working as a TA at Williams College, where I completed an undergrad degree in English and geology, with honors in maritime studies). Prior to becoming a teacher, I earned a MS in oceanography with graduate work at Princeton and Rutgers, focusing on geochemistry and paleoclimatology (that means I spent a lot of time looking at algae and stalagmites). I specialize in Earth science and general science, but I also love working with students on research and writing skills!
