About Me
Hi! I am a current PhD candidate in Classics at the City University of New York, Graduate Center. Recently, I launched my own tutoring company to help more students in their studies.
I grew up in New York City and attended Saint Ann's in Brooklyn Heights, received my BA in Greek and Latin from Swarthmore College, a Post-Baccalaureate in Classics at the University of Pennsylvania and my MA in Classics at the University of Maryland, College Park. In 2008 I received the Teaching Assistant award for teaching excellence at the University of Maryland and have taught extensive classes in Mythology, Greek and Roman literature in translation and Latin in the college setting.
I have been tutoring for numerous years now in subjects ranging from Ancient Greek to SAT prep and with students aged seven to sixty-five. As a native New Yorker, I know the ins and outs of the school systems and the pressure that New York students deal with. As a result, I have dedicated my life to aiding students in academic achievements and mentoring them to succeed in every way possible.
