About Me
I am a Columbia University honors graduate with a degree in Neuroscience and English, as well as a minor focus in Dance. Two of my biggest passions are teaching and performing arts. While I am off season from performing with the Metropolitan Opera of New York, my favorite thing to do is tutor and teach. In the past year, I've successfully tutored high school students in a broad variety of subjects, helping them improve their grades by at least a letter. I've also worked with my students to help them reach their improvement goals for the SAT/ACT. Some of my students have increased their scores by 400 points or more! I enjoy tutoring students in a broad array of academic subjects, and can also teach dance, acting the song/vocal technique, ukulele, and basic HTML/website development. The success of my students is paramount, which is why I spend significant time and effort to ensure that I create the most engaging, enjoyable, and informational lesson plans and teach with a positive, upbeat, and encouraging philosophy.
