About Me
Effective teaching is my passion, and I love the opportunity to connect with individual students on an ongoing basis. I bring enthusiasm and perspective to any number of subjects from middle school algebra to PSAT and SAT prep to AP chemistry to college biology.
I've done tutoring and teaching for the last seven years including some teaching at the middle school, high school, and college levels, and individual tutoring with everything in-between. This has included prealgebra, algebra, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and college-level neuroscience, biology, psychology, and ethics. Having written the tests and graded the papers of Stanford students, I can also create curricula and practice work for a variety of subjects.
I'm a senior at Stanford, and I've loved my classes in human biology, psychology, and philosophy. They help me bring a calming sense of perspective to otherwise daunting challenges, and I've found the application of cognitive psychology to practical learning and memory challenges in school to be very effective.
Outside of the classroom, I have a passion for mental and sexual health on campus, meditation, rock climbing, yoga, bicycling, cooperative living, and thinking about the big questions in life. Please inquire about tutoring and I'm sure we can work out something that's great for everybody!
