About Me

I am currently a free-lance math teacher, handling mostly SAT I and II classes, as well as state-test preparation classes. I also write math curricula and math worksheets for various companies, including onlnine exercises.

I was a math instructor at Timberland High School, South Carolina, teaching Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Precalculus and Calculus, including AP Calculus. I have also coached students for several math competitions, and have helped the school in achieving numerous local and state awards.

Prior to this, I was a college math instructor, and soon after became the Discipline Head for Mathematics at AMA Computer University in the Philippines. I taught Algebra, Discrete Math and Calculus to junior college students. Being a Discipline Head for Mathematics, I was also actively involved in curriculum development and revision, and participated in various academic researches both locally and internationally.

My educational philosophy is that every child has the right to an environment that promotes learning. Given the necessary conditions, plus inculcating in them the desire to learn, every student is capable of learning and maximizing his potentials.
