About Me

I am a rising junior at Georgetown University with a 3.94 GPA. My major is English, my minor is Spanish and I hope to teach English abroad before applying to medical school after I graduate from Georgetown. I volunteer as a tutor during the year with DC Reads in under-served schools within the District which has been one of my most rewarding and fun experiences. I have experience tutoring ages 8-17 for the last 6 years and I truly love working with students of all ages. As a part-time youth softball coach, volunteer non-profit summer camp counselor and former Little Gym employee, I love spending time with kids in all contexts, and I understand the struggles and pressures of today's educational system. I scored a 1570 on the SATs and a 35 on the ACTS and would be available to tutor towards those tests as well as in the subjects of reading comprehension, writing and basic math.
