About Me
Drawing upon years of teaching experience ranging from undergraduates at Columbia University, where I am completing my PhD, to private instruction for students of all ages on a host of subjects, my teaching approach is holistic in nature. Each student, in my view, is first and foremost a unique individual for whom my teaching style and techniques must be adjusted and refined so as to ensure the most productive and rewarding outcome. I have found that some students need a shot of confidence whereas others benefit most from closer and more detailed guidance, and I make no assumptions in what method best facilitates effective learning for an individual. The one area in which my teaching does not waver is my proactive involvement in actualizing one's goals. So long as a student makes a concerted effort to achieve, my initiative and commitment are resolute. I am comfortable and confident teaching a wide range of subjects.
