About Me
I have over 15 years experience as a teacher in public and private schools. I have a multiple subject and a single subject English credential. I have taught all grades including elementary (all students), middle school (language arts/science/math/social studies), high school language arts (grammar, vocabulary, essay, composition, literature). I have been a scorer for the essay portion of the California state teacher exams. I am a member of Mensa and offer individualized, standard-based lessons that are fun, exciting, and innovative. I ask open ended questions, encourage discussions. I have respect for students of all ages and have open communications with their parents, if minors. My aim is to encourage, inspire, and uplift. Never will you hear any putdowns or negativity. Besides, I'm way cool.
