About Me
Hi - I'm a senior at the University of Chicago pursuing a degree in English Language and Lit, with a minor in Environmental Studies. I am an excellent editor of all types of essay, though I have a great deal more experience with English, History, Comparative Lit, and Sociology papers than with lab write-ups and other essays in Science or Business. I am currently studying for the LSAT, and have taken some law classes. I also work freelance as an editor, and belong to a small literature group in Chicago where I comment on a great deal of prose and poetry. I have tutored math for a few years, and have taken and tutored Latin for 6 years. I consider myself a highly critical tutor, though never discouraging: I empathize with my students and want them to be the best they can be. That being said, I also really enjoy the process of imparting knowledge and techniques - so I try to convey this joy in the learning process.
