About Me
I have experience teaching/tutoring at the college and high school levels, and love to do both because they allow me to use my content knowledge to help others. In Binghamton, I was the tutor for Political Science and English at the Center for Academic excellence, being able to explain concepts, improve writing, and troubleshoot studying issues. I also was a course assistant for an undergraduate English course for engineers, teaching them proper writing, presentation, and professional skills.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Binghamton University and receiving a Bachelors Degree in both English and Political Science, I attended Teachers College, Columbia University, where I received a Masters Degree in English Education. I have been teaching in high school since then, and have taught at all grade levels and ability ranges. I am an English teacher, however I spent one year teaching American History and US Government and Economics.
