Matt graduated from California Institute of Technology with a bachelor's
of science degree in chemistry. He also holds a masters of science in
chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles and is currently
pursing a doctorate degree there in inorganic chemistry. For the last
five years he has enjoyed tutoring high school students in chemistry and
mathematics at a variety of levels. In addition, he has spent two
years as a teaching assistant for UCLA's general chemistry and
laboratory courses and was recently recognized with an award presented
annually for excellence in teaching. Matt's strengths in tutoring lie
in his all around understanding of the subject at hand, his enthusiasm
in teaching chemistry and mathematics, and his ability to relate the
material to the student in a comprehensible and accurate manner.
