About Me

I am a graduate of Elmira College with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Mathematics. I first started tutoring when I was in High School. I learned early on that I had a true passion for teaching and never wanted to do anything else. I use my talent of creativity to successfully teach students in a fun, applicable, and rewarding way. I have been teaching students of all ages from Kindergarten to Middle School. Most recently, I finished up my student teaching with sixth graders teaching them Math and Science. It was one of the most rewarding experience and opportunity I have had. My success as a tutor is the success of my students. The greatest part about tutoring is when that light bulb pops on and you know that the students understand the material. My specialty is Math, but I also teach Science, ELA, History, and American Sign Language.
