About Me

I am a recent MFA graduate (Creative Writing, Nonfiction and Poetry), published writer, experienced literary editor and K-12 certified English Teacher (Pennsylvania) who loves to teach writing! I love writing, reading and learning and I love helping others learn too. My most recent teaching job was with gifted students in grades 2-8 and it was so very rewarding. I loved challenging their minds and opening them up to a world of creative writing. I care a lot about helping my students develop the skills they need to succeed at writing and strengthening their literacy skills. I especially love to show my students that writing is fun process that can help them discover more about themselves as learners.
