About Me
I'm a graduate of the University of Chicago, and currently employed as a part-time webmaster and IT specialist for the Department of Music. I'm passionate about teaching, and can help students from middle school through college struggling in the sciences to gain mastery of general physics, chemistry and biology. Additionally, I am an experienced writer and editor, and can tutor students interested in reading comprehension, composition, essay writing and literature. I hold a BA with honors in anthropology, and am writing up a thesis for the Master of Arts Program in the Social Sciences.
While an undergraduate and graduate student, I've TA'd for courses in the Biological Sciences Collegiate Division, including Ecology & Evolution for biology majors, as well as science courses for non-majors like Global Warming: Understanding the Forecast. My scholarly work is in American history and philosophy. I want to help others make the most of their education, and will work to individualize my approach to each and every student.
