About Me
I have been a devoted and dedicated teacher and tutor for more than 15 years. I received my BA from Boston College in French and English literature with a concentration in mathematics. I received my Masters and PhD degrees from UC Riverside in Comparative Literature. I have tutored for 1 on 1 Academic Tutors and for School on Wheels and I have even taught swimming lessons for 6 years at the YMCA.
My goal in teaching is to engender excitement in my students and to create a rewarding learning experience, which I aim to
accomplish through an innovative teaching style that motivates students to
participate more and study harder. I am both compassionate and patient and I challenge students to keep trying until they master the concepts. I have successfully tutored K-12, college students, and adults in Algebra (Pre, I, & II); Geometry; Calculus; English Composition; English and World Literature; French Language, Literature, and Culture; and European, World, and American History and Geography.
