About Me
I am a Columbia University honors graduate who specialized in English and Comparative Literature. I have over six years of tutoring experience. Having assisted students in subjects as different as middle school language arts and Algebra II, I come from a diverse teaching background.
Currently, I tutor a high school junior in AP English Language. My biggest passions are literature, writing, and teaching. I find it deeply rewarding to help students unlock their potential and accurately use their language skills to express themselves. I am currently working at an educational nonprofit called Educating Young Minds as a tutor and mentor to middle and high school students. While my specialty is English, I can tutor in most liberal arts subjects, including history, art history, social sciences, and psychology. I am also well versed in basic mathematics up through Algebra II.
Though most of my experience comes from teaching middle and high school students, I can also work with elementary and college students. If you work with me, you are working with a person who is passionate about teaching, dedicated to the success of his students, and tested by years of tutoring.
