About Me

Hi there!  I am a highly motivated and energetic teacher who is constantly searching for new, exciting ways for students to learn.  I have a bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a Masters degree is Secondary Education concentrating in Biology (grades 7-12).  I have tutored students ranging from ages 7 to age 52 (seriously!).  I love to teach and work very hard at my job.  Before graduate school, I spent a year doing non-formal education at a sea turtle hospital in Georgia and it made me realize how important it is for teachers to make learning fun and exciting for students.  I am currently a substitute teacher for the New York City Public Schools and look forward to working with more students to achieve their school goals!
