About Me
I have been
teaching in the public school system for six years in both Arizona and
California. My experience has mostly been
with grades 1-3. My expertise has been
teaching ESL students. With this, my
skills are in creatively adapting curriculum to fit the needs of individual
learning styles whether it be small group or whole class lessons. I became quite fluent in Spanish in my early
years of teaching, and use it practically every day.
At Hoover Elementary, I coordinated the ELD
program as the lead teacher that gave me some experience in management. I have also worked as a tutor in Oakland
using laptops to teach individuals key grade level standards.I think my
experience with communications, curriculum, and technology make me an
exceptional candidate. I am available
