About Me

I have over five years experience in early childhood education teaching math, phonics, reading comprehension, writing, science, social studies and math at the kindergarten to second grade level. I have a passion for helping young children develop a love for learning through establishing academic success. Throughout my career I have developed and successfully implemented a Kindergarten readiness program for children preparing to enter Kindergarten and a Science program for children Kindergarten through second grade. I pride myself on presenting information in a fun hands-on manner that ensures that children will learn in an environment free of frustration. In addition, I have had the opportunity to teach a diverse group of students including those challenged by learning disabilities, non-compliant behavior, and speech impairments as well as children who function on-and above grade level.
