About Me

I am experienced Math and Physics teacher and a friendly, fun tutor. I have taught a variety of subjects including Physics, Algebra and Psychology for the past four years. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to that, I worked in business at several software start-up companies before deciding that education was my passion! I enjoy learning and helping others find success and enjoyment in their classes. I work with students at all levels. If you or your child are having difficulty with a subject, I know how to break down concepts from subjects like Physics, Algebra or Calculus into manageable pieces with engaging practical examples. If you are looking for an extra challenge, I have plenty of tough challenge problems we can work through.

My philosophy is to get to know the student well and then understand how to make learning engaging and relevant to them. I help students build their confidence by ensuring they have the deep understanding of the underlying concepts, not just knowledge of how to repeat a process.
