About Me

Though I'd specialize in tutoring math and English, I've long excelled in most any subject I've taken. I passed five AP tests in high school (US History, US Government, two English courses, and AB Calculus) and scored a 710/800 on the math section of the SAT. I tutored math students my entire senior year of high school and was my class's valedictorian with a 4.1 GPA. I once majored in math and computer science in college but ultimately settled on an English degree because of an intense love for writing. I graduated from the University of Georgia with cum laude honors in 2009 and relocated to southern California last fall.

I've group-tutored at a local middle school since last October and have tutored several students one-on-one in that same stretch of time, mostly in algebra and prealgebra. If you're looking for math help, I'd love the opportunity to assist you!
