Hello, my name is Julia. I have a PhD in Bioengineering from UCSF. I am currently a research fellow researching methods for imaging the human brain. For the past four years, I have been an academic tutor, working with more than 20 students. I tutor all levels of high school math and science. My students have attended top private high schools in San Francisco, including UHS, The Bay School, JCHS, and Sacred Heart Prep. I have experience working with students for varying lengths of time ranging from multiple years to short-term test prep. I truly enjoy working with high school students. I have a passion for math and science and always try to find a way to share that enthusiasm with my students, regardless of their affinity for the subjects on which we work.
