About Me

I have a graduate degree in Museum and Childhood Education from Bank Street College, and I have been in the education field for more than 10 years. After finishing up a degree at Boston University in Art History, I worked at the Metropolitan Museum coordinating special events, but soon found that the office life was not for me.  The next year I started out as a preschool teacher, spent three years teaching 3-5 year olds, and decided to merge my two loves, Art History and Education, and pursue a degree in Museum Education at Bank Street.  Upon completion of my Masters degree, I began teaching at Hannah Senesh, and am now starting my seventh year!  I taught First Grade for three years and am on my fourth year teaching second grade.  I love kids and am so happy to help them excel in school!
