About Me
Hello, I am currently a graduate student getting my Master's degree in Linguistics at Georgetown University. I am fascinated by many different facets of language, from the level of variations in the sounds used to produce language to how different words are used in context. I also have a Master's degree in Speech-Pathology, and after completing that degree, I worked with two children who had autism, and one of whom also had some speech challenges. I also coached a spin class for children and adults with developmental disabilities, which was a great chance to be enthusiastic and spread positive energy! One of the things I enjoy most about working with people (kids and adults) is being able to inspire confidence in them that they can achieve something in their lives. I also am a singer/musician on the side and would enjoy giving singing, and perhaps piano or guitar lessons. I consider myself patient, considerate and understanding, persistent, encouraging, and willing to make the experience as fun/enjoyable as possible!
