About Me

I am a University of Nevada, Reno honors graduate in Journalism. I have been a tutor for years, in both the small classroom setting and private, one-on-one sessions, and I have worked with students age 3 to adults! I genuinely enjoy helping pupils (of all ages) learn and I love seeing them grow in their knowledge and scholastic capabilities. My strength is definitely teaching anything involving the English language, including reading, reading comprehension, writing (from basic sentences to essays to short stories) and spelling. My style infuses encouragement, fun, positive feedback and a calm disposition.
