About Me
I am a sophomore at the University of Michigan pursuing a dual degree in Industrial & Operations Engineering and Business Administration. I have extensive experience in teaching subjects such as mathematics (ranging from pre-algebra to multivariable calculus and linear algebra), physics (mechanics), computer science (C++, MATLAB, Visual Basic, and Java), Technical Communications, etc. I also work as an instructional aide for the College of Engineering. Although I am still a sophomore, I have been tutoring consistently for the past 6 years. Additionally, I served as a mentor for two years in Big Brothers / Big Sisters through which I was able to further develop my teaching/mentoring skills. My unique teaching strengths include being able to identify/understand others' thought processes, and being able to explain abstract ideas in terms familiar to individual students.
